Palm Point is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Lead Assessment Coordinator.

The primary responsibility for a Lead Admissions Coordinator is performing all aspects of the assessment and admissions processes in the Admissions Department with the addition of leading the daily operations of their designated shift and assisting the Assistant Director and Director of Admissions with Intake related tasks.
Additional responsibilites include attending FLASH meetings, as needed, completing morning reports, as needed, efficient and effective handling of inquiry calls, knowledge of, and communication with referral sources; providing hospital and program information to individuals, agencies and professionals; making outside referrals, when appropriate; assessing and triaging an individuals' mental health status; making patient safety and level of care recommendations to the physician; identifying insurance benefits, pre-certification of patient care; completing all admission requirements; communicating patient safety concerns and pertinent information to unit nursing staffing and admitting physician when necessary; documenting all required information in Med Series 4.

Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field required.
Licensure/Certification: LCSW,LMHC,LMFT preferred.
BLS required or obtained prior to direct patient care.
Experience: Two (2) years in the Mental Health field preferably in Intake/Triage/Admissions area required.
One (1) year of in-patient experience required.
