```Overview```
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team.
We are an independent contractor with Fedex Ground, We service the merritt island area, Cocoa beach, and Cape Canaveral area as well.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers.
This is a crucial role in our organization as you will be the face of our company to our valued customers.

```Duties```
- Safely operate a delivery van or truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload items from the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and invoices
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking oil, tires, and brakes
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with operating a forklift or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Ability to drive both manual transmission vehicles and refrigerated trailers is desirable
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of goods
- Ability to load and unload items of various sizes and weights
