We have an immediate Fuel Driver opening for daytime and home every evening.
Driver is hard working professional with a solid background in driving and a desire to work for a fast paced, growing company.
In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a want to grow with us kind of attitude.
Must be committed to the delivery and handling of petroleum products that are vital to our customers and communities.
Location: Greater area of Cape Canaveral, Florida
Responsibilities include load, unload, and delivery of petroleum products in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
Job Description for this position:
Operates a Tank wagon truck as directed and transports between the facility and multiple destinations.
Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and or pickup of fuels to endure timely service.
Maintains telephone contact with management/dispatch to receive delivery instructions or notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
Responsible for daily inspections of vehicle (pre-post trip), ensuring proper function of all safety-related features in the vehicle at all times.
The Required Skills for the CDL Fuel Driver are:
CDL license with X Endorsement (Hazmat & Tanker) And a TWIC card.
Minimum of 2 Years verifiable driving experience.
Able to lift 70lbs.
Available for overtime as required to meet business needs within needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations, plus weekends are a must to be available when needed.
Current DOT medical card required at time of hire.
Must have a clean driving record without no serious violations.
Must maintain a clean presentation of the driver and vehicle.
Stable work history is a must.
All CDL drivers must be registered through the Clearing House per FMCSA.
Ability to handle multiple projects, manage workflows, and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a professional environment.
Proficient in performing pre and post-trip inspections.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment DOT drug screening and background check.
