*Job brief*
We are looking for a professional kitchen manager to prepare food to the exact owner’s specifications and to set up stations for menu.
Kitchen manager duties will consist of assisting with all kitchen related daily tasks.
The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals, ability to manage others and maintain a positive attitude.
*Responsibilities*
* Responsible for breaking down and cleaning kitchen , including but not limited to cleaning flattop grill, wipe down walls, clean out food cooler, clean all equipment and reset kitchen.
* Wrap all food and put in walk in cooler in our commissary kitchen
* Lock up trailer at end of night & ensure everything is properly turned off
* Stock station appropriately
* Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
* Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
* Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
* Manage others and train employees to handle all stations
*Requirements and skills*
* Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook
* Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
* Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
* Familiar with industry’s best practices
* Able to keep self motivated
* Manager Safe serve certified
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.
00 - $20.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
