Job Summary
Provide a dependable, safe, clean, positive, educational, nurturing, environment for young children on a daily
basis.
The ideal candidate is able to engage and interact with children ages infant through 5 years old and has a passion for early childhood development.
Must possess knowledge of how to teach littles or have a strong aptitude for learning.
A positive attitude and energy fits well in our center.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide age appropriate care
Keep children engaged using materials and curriculum provided
Be prepared in advance to teach each lesson
Maintain clean and tidy environment (put away toys, materials, supplies and clean and sanitize utilized areas, remove trash) before children arrive and after children leave
Use check in and check out procedures
Communicate with parents
Keep staff informed regarding supply needs or concerns with child(ren)
Additional responsibilities may be required for this position
Qualifications
Must have previous experience with children
Computer and mobile device skills are necessary
Good communication skills
Professional appearance with friendly, courteous, positive attitude
Ability to perform physical activity
Must be flexible and a team player
Attendance and Punctuality
Attendance is an essential job function.
This position requires applicant to arrive on time for scheduled shift
which means set up and ready for kids' arrival.
This position requires the ability to work extended hours and
weekends, if necessary, when required.
Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to lift moderately heavy objects up to 25lbs.
and perform duties requiring extensive
maneuverability and normal strength.
Must also be prepared to run, jump and participate in physical activity.
Equipment
Duties will require the regular use of mobile devices, computers and other electronics.
Must have access to
transportation.
