Collections Specialist

Moncrief Bail Bonds is currently seeking *Collections Specialists.
*In this role you'll be interacting with our customers daily by phone and through our custom software programs.
Our Collection Specialist should exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness.
You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to work independently.
*Responsibilities* * Input collection clients into software program.
* Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
* Contact clients for collection of payments/establish new payment arrangements.
* Take actions to encourage timely payments.
* Process payments, issue receipts and update files.
* Resolve any billing issues.
* Update account status records and collection efforts.
* Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
*Skills* * Experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role.
* Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques (e.
g.
skip tracing) * Familiarity with laws related to debt collection.
* Working knowledge of MS Office and databases * Excellent communication skills (written and oral) * Negotiation skills * Problem-solving skills * *Bilingual a plus* *\* please do not contact office regarding job posting* Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
